How to buy

From the first message to your port.

One team handles the search, the inspection, the payment, the paperwork and the shipping. Here is exactly what happens, what you pay and what you receive.

The four steps

What happens, in order.

  1. 1

    Choose and inspect

    3–5 days

Browse our stock or name the model you want. We locate it, run the 120-point inspection and send you the report, photos and video with a complete, transparent quote.

    • Browse our stock or send the model, year and budget you want
    • We locate it in Dubai, Asia or North America and send a complete quote
    • 120-point inspection with photos and video before any payment
  2. 2

Pay and we prepare the export

    ~1 week

Bank transfer to one of our UAE business accounts against a pro forma invoice. We then handle the invoice, export certificate, customs and GSO and prepare the car for loading.

    • Pro forma invoice with every cost and the terms of sale
    • Bank transfer to our UAE business account, in EUR, USD or AED
    • Export certificate, customs clearance, GSO and loading booked
  3. 3

    Shipping

    3–6 weeks

Container or roll-on roll-off. You receive the bill of lading from the shipping line to follow the vessel to your port.

    • Shared container, dedicated container or roll-on roll-off
    • Bill of lading with live tracking on the shipping line's site
    • Marine insurance optional, offered with the quote
  4. 4

    Arrival and registration

    10 days to 4 weeks

Clearance at your port with the full document pack, then the technical approval your country requires (DREAL/UTAC in France, TÜV and KBA in Germany), through to registration.

    • Clearance at your port with the full document pack
    • Duties and taxes paid locally; the quote shows the estimate
    • For the EU: conformity certificate and inspection to registration
A worked example

What you pay, line by line.

A passenger car bought for €40,000 (≈ $46,500) in Dubai and shipped to France, at our published rates.

Price of the car
€40,000approx. $46,500
Shared-container shipping
€2,500approx. $2,910
Export certificate
€500approx. $580
Service fee
€1,390approx. $1,620
At your port
€44,390approx. $51,600
Customs duty (10%)
€4,250approx. $4,940
Import VAT (20%)
€9,350approx. $10,900

Cleared total

€57,990approx. $67,400

A pick-up or utility vehicle generally pays 22% duty. Registration, and in France the environmental penalty, come on top; your quote estimates them before you buy.

Why buyers choose us

Importing from Dubai looks simple. The reality is less so.

What buyers usually run into, and how we handle it.

  • The usual risk: Hidden fees and middlemen, and bad surprises on delivery.

How we handle it: No middlemen: we buy directly from dealerships and every cost is on the quote.

  • The usual risk: Flattering photos and no real inspection.

How we handle it: A 120-point inspection with photos and videos before you pay.

  • The usual risk: Wrong documents, and a car that cannot be registered.

How we handle it: Export certificate, customs, GSO and conformity papers prepared for you.

  • The usual risk: No follow-up once the money is sent.

How we handle it: We follow your import to delivery and answer on WhatsApp in English, French and Arabic.

Payment

Secure, on invoice.

  • UAE business accounts

Mashreq, Emirates NBD or RAK Bank, in the name of DUBAI EXPORT AUTO FZE, registered in the Ajman Free Zone since 2019 (licence 27982).

  • EUR, USD or AED

You pay in the invoice's currency: euro, dollar or dirham. Deposit and balance follow the terms of your contract.

  • Everything on the invoice

Car, service fee, export documents, freight and insurance line by line. Duties and taxes at destination are shown as an estimate.

  • Clear terms

Terms of sale under UAE law on every contract. Cancellation after a container is confirmed costs USD 300.

  • Check before every transfer

The account is always in the name of DUBAI EXPORT AUTO FZE and our bank details never change by e-mail. If in doubt, call us to confirm them before you pay.

Documents

What travels with the car.

  1. Export certificate from the UAE authorities (RTA de-registration)
  2. Commercial invoice and contract of sale
  3. Bill of lading from the shipping line, with tracking
  4. GSO conformity certificate where required
  5. Certificate of conformity (CoC) for the EU, when available
  6. Maintenance history and inspection report

For a car from Asia or North America: the export certificate of the departure country, the auction sheet or title, the invoice and the bill of lading.

Registration in Europe

Two routes, known delays.

Outside the EU, each country has its own rules and age limits. Your destination page says what applies.

Express, about 10 days

Models with a European certificate of conformity: BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Audi and most European brands sold in the UAE.

Extended, 3 to 4 weeks

Models that need individual approval: RAM, Mustang, Challenger, Porsche, Toyota Land Cruiser and other non-EU models. DREAL/UTAC in France, then form 846A.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Cannot find your answer?

Our team in Dubai answers on WhatsApp, in English, French or Arabic.

Is my payment secure?

Our company, DUBAI EXPORT AUTO FZE, has been registered in the UAE since 2019 (licence 27982). You pay on invoice, after the inspection, only into an account in the company's name: never send money to a personal account.

How can I pay?

By bank transfer to one of our business accounts at Mashreq, Emirates NBD or RAK Bank. Cash is also accepted.

How much will my car cost once it arrives?

The price of the car, plus our service fee, the export certificate and shipping to your port: all on the invoice. Your country's duties and taxes come on top (in the EU, generally 10% customs duty plus VAT; in France, the environmental penalty at registration). Our online estimate and your quote show them before you commit.

How long until my car reaches my port?

About 4 to 8 weeks from payment confirmation to arrival at your port, depending on the destination. Registration then takes place in your country.
